Ms. Michelle Carr

My name is Michelle Carr, and I am one of the assistant teachers in Room 3. I enjoy spending my spare time outside, wrestling my new puppy, exploring new places around the city. My path into education started at The Ohio State University, where I studied as a special education major. I recently transferred to the University of Michigan-Dearborn to complete my degree. My decision to go into education was influenced by my time working at Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities where I was a provider for adults with disabilities. I spent my time working closely with their teachers to help reach goals set on their Individualized Education Plan. The more time I spent within the classroom, the more my interest in education grew. I strive to meet the individual needs of every child while making learning an enjoyable experience. I look forward to helping your                                               child grow and develop throughout the school year!
