Month of November Drawing Our Shadows To strengthen our shadow exploration, we inspired the children with a large sheet of paper, black crayons and the overhead projector. The children stood in front of the projector and noticed their shadow displayed on the large sheet of white paper. The children used a variety of different strategies to draw their shadow such as filling in their shadow with a crayon. Other children worked on making marks inside of the torso area of their shadow, and then working their way outwards.
