Caterpillars, Cooking, and Cargo
Caterpillars
The children have shown a great deal of interest in the caterpillars. They noticed how the caterpillars look like "little snakes" and "worms." To strengthen the children's understanding of the caterpillars we provided them with white paper and markers to draw their interpretation of the caterpillars.

Cooking
The dramatic play area is the most popular area of our classroom. The children display their cooking skills to their peers, whether it is how to make kafta or how to mix all the ingredients together for cookies. We wanted to empower the children to create their own food using simple ingredients. So far, we have created mini pizzas, apple dippers and banana dippers.

Cargo
We have been working together with Room 2 and Room 8 in how we can efficiently move our cargo up and down the hallway. We placed small red buckets on top of the scooters and attached a long rope to each scooter. The children have developed several strategies for filling up their "train" and hauling their "cargo."
